The crews on Delos over the years have always been amazing, and always kept pace with where im at in life. Been watching since I was at uni in 2012, i remember binge watching like 60 episodes to catch up. Still love watching the latest ep Saturday mornings

Catamarans will gain your favor when you start getting older and have kids. Which is me. My kids are grown and moved out but they grew up on the boat. As they grew and got older we realized we need a bigger, more space friendly boat. A catamaran with full electric winches and furling would just be sweet!

Why wouldn't folks go into the local villages/cities to meet folks and hang out vs hanging with a bunch of other very wealthy (according to local income) people taking more than they give back to local communities? I'm not being combative simply curious.

We have been cruising cat owners for the last 13yrs, and cat delivery crew for 8yrs of that. Having sailed many different design all I can say is that I think you are making all the right choices in your design. I agree with everything you’re doing. Well done. I think a great many people will follow your lead on this!!

The New Delos is certainly going to give Sierra more space to play as she gets older, l imagine it will be more stable in heavy seas so for Kazza it will be a much more comfortable environment especially because she tends to be a fair weather sailor, the greater expanse of the steering area especially if you have decided to have it fully covered will give you all a much nicer area to enjoy all day long not to mention a nice flat area atop to have loads of screens to capture some power

I'm glad that you three had such a good time on VA with friends. Sierra's going to make a great sailor one day! I think that you'll love having your own cataraman. You probably already have considered the negative aspects of aluminum (or "aluminium" as the Brits say it!), however, Brian: #1. Because it doesn't flow through those waves like a monohull, it can be noisier as it slams into the waves. #2. Corrosion will be a problem; you'll have to figure out just how to use a more reactive metal (like zinc) as a sacrificial anode -- and that's going to require constant attention. #3. Metal fatique will be a danger: aluminum doesn't flex well at all (a minimum deformation limit) so will eventually break. #4. It won't just be difficult, but more expensive, to put on some kind of antifouling agent on aluminum -- it's easier to do on fiberglass. Good luck! I was always for you folks getting a Cat ...The roomyness alone. Also the speed, like 20+ knots.. I'm sure you will have plenty of cargo ..I only crewed on monohulls as a teenager... Best to you.

The grand old lady (let's break the rules and call Delos a big 'ol Daddy), that has been the absolute (named) star and focal point of the show get's it's first good bye. I told myself years ago, that I don't follow or like channels switching from mono to multi, but I might do it for the people, for you guys, not for the new boat. That's just my sentiment. Ps. if you never heard about Finnish guy called Pertti Duncker...he's on of the first ones starting to do blogs, and even vlogs on the 80s about his crazy adventures. Sure being a welder he built own boat on his yard after drawing the size of the boat on his backyard on the sand
